GARYWORDS by The Real GabbyGary – I’m sorry, but, any truly conscientious person who has been paying close attention to the daily, real news coming out of Washington, D.C., the home of the United States Congress, White House and various federal agencies, should already understand why the Impeachment Inquiry in the House of Representatives is taking place. However, some comments made by Facebook Friends, indicate this is not the case.
GARYTALK.COM – Facebook is ramping up it’s efforts to respond to the real threat to the United States democratic process this country’s intelligence agencies are warning about. The social media giant’s members were inundated with disinformation, misinformation and other campaigns meant to steer voters’ choices at the 2016 ballot box. There is fear that the persuasiveness of highly suspect untrue details being spread like wildfire by, sometimes, unsuspecting users via the Facebook Friends “sharing” posts to one another, may affect upcoming elections. Facebook has introduced at least one wrung in it’s plan to get voter truth back into the election system by turning off one possible avenue of misinformation. Let me explain.
GARYTALK.COM – During a professional radio and newspaper communications industry career that started prior to 1967, Gary Morgan has been a Newspaper Editor, Printing & Publishing Business General Manager, Radio DeeJay, News Director, Station Manager, and, half of a successful daily radio program called MICHAELS & MORGAN with J.D. Michaels (Morgan insists it was called MORGAN & Michaels). For a brief time, in the Year 2000, Morgan was also a politician, but, more about all of that at another time. The main thing is, everything work related led Morgan to getting involved in the internet.
