GARYTALK.COM (02/29/2016) – During this Presidential Primary season, I was starting to get really fed up with hearing over and over and over, the obnoxious things uttered out of the mouth of Republican Presidential Primary candidate Donald Trump. I have not been able to understand the popularity he has gathered in the polls and Republican primary results thus far. I keep hoping the human beings who find him so politically attractive will come to their senses and cease such misplaced loyalty.

Those Who Control Airwaves Control Thoughts And Actions
GARYTALK.COM (02-14-2016) – In this presidential election year, as in every election cycle, people are influenced not only by political advertising, but, also by the voices they hear on their radio, tv, internet and cable stations. It’s true, opinions are shaped also by commentary in newspapers, magazines and website blogs, but this is about the fact that those who control the airwaves have control of the thoughts and actions of voters.
Internet Radio Stations May Start Dropping Like Flies
GARYTALK.COM (January 12, 2016) – If you are like many people, young, old, and in-between, who enjoy listening to music streamed on the internet, instead of a local over the air, broadcast radio station, perhaps because you like the internet radio station’s music mix better, or their much longer playlists, or, the variety, or for whatever reason, that may no longer be an option soon. There is a very real possibility that small, hobbyist class, microcasters, operating internet radio stations, could disappear completely if music royalty rates become impossible to continue operation.
Rap Group NWA Surprisingly Named To Rock Hall Of Fame
GARYTALK.COM (12/19/2015) – Some rock and roll purists may take offense that a raw, wild, controversial, highly influential group from the Rap Genre has made its way into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. NWA (N.W.A.) was, surprisingly, among the nominees eligible for voting this year. Their supporters apparently came from outside the fan voting ranks, because online voting finals showed NWA in 12th place, but, RockHall.com included NWA in the top 5 final inductees named just a few days ago. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland, Ohio, USA, announced that Deep Purple, Cheap Trick, Chicago, Steve Miller, and NWA, will be inducted into the RockHall at the New York ceremony in April, 2016.
