GARYTALK.COM (11/29/2015) – From time to time I will likely include a variety of ideas and not necessarily related comments in my Garywords at Garytalk.com. Some of the combination of words will be sentences which are stimulated by my reactions to posts I see on Facebook or Twitter. Occasionally some of these posts by my friends, relatives and people who follow me, or whom I follow, compel me to add a comment or two. Here are just three occasions from one recent Sunday afternoon.
GARYTAPES is the place on Garytalk.com to find recorded radio conversations from the past. Many of the recordings involved well known people while others were just very interesting persons with interesting occupations or situations. The discussions originally aired during the latter part of the 20th Century. Gary Morgan has been lugging around at least 100 or more analog tapes and plans to share the audio as they are dubbed to digital, mp3 form.
GARYWORDS is the place on Garytalk.com to find a combination of internet blog posts from the past, present and future. These writings are largely observations, commentary, musings and opinions of Gary W. Morgan. Gary is a semi-retired radio, newspaper and internet news reporter, personality and commentator who now does it all on the internet since 2001.
GARYTALK.COM (11/20/2015) – Today, we’re looking back to February 2, 2012, when, after a long and welcome presence on television, Regis Philbin decided coming in to the studio everyday was no longer for him. He turned the reigns over to his, then, on air partner, Kelly Ripa.
This is what I wrote about the change while a search was going on to find a replacement partner for Ripa. It took awhile to find someone to compliment Kelly and then, lo and behold, there was Michael Strahan. The following was written before Strahan joined the new team.
